Importance of Overall Screened Cables and Ptfe heater wires

Overall Screened Cables is an electrical cable which is enclosed by common conductive layers and has one or more insulated conductors. Primarily two different types of cables are used in airfield lighting circuits first is non screened cable and second is screened cables. These cables determine a defined voltage across the dielectric field. In present time Overall Screened Cables are chiefly used because it decreases the electrical noise and electromagnetic interface effects, which can interrupt the transmission performance.  In the manufacturing of screened cables different qualities of metal foil and braid may be used as screened material.

On the basis of environment people selects the screened cables. Unscreened cables chiefly used in office application environments whereas screened cables mostly used in industrial application, where high transmission power needed. The shield of screened cables is tranquil by braided standard of copper or layer of conducting polymer and this shield is also covered by a jacket. This shield acts as a hurdle which is used to reduce electrical noise which affects the signals and to reduce electromagnetic radiation.   Three types of screened cables are mostly used in the market are coaxial cable, fiber optical cable and building wire. Fiber optical cable has composed of a number of layers of plastic coating which act as a protection layer for fiber. Building wire cable is also known as the branch circuit wiring which demeanor an electrical current and dispatches it to external appliance. These kind of screened cables are rated on the basis of voltage and temperature. Coaxial cable is a kind of screened cables which has an inner conductor which is covered by an insulating layer and which further covered by a conducting shield.  This is the reason that screened cables are mostly used in the market.

The full form of Ptfe is poly tetra fluoro ethylene. Ptfe was first introduced by Roy Plunkett in 1938 in New Jersey. Ptfe heater wires are manufactured by fluorocarbon solid and it has high molecular weight, which is sedate by carbon and fluorine.  The density of ptfe wires are 2200 kg/m3 and melting point is 327”C. Ptfe heat wires has low set up charges and short lead times. Ptfe is a plastic which is malleable up to -200”C and steady up to 260”C. These characteristics help to develop safe, efficient and long life ptfe insulated heaters. Applications of such type of wire are in various fields as in car seats heating, blanket heating and floor heating etc. These wires are also used for temperature control for electronics display devices. In gasket heating these types of wires are chiefly used.

Ptfe insulated wires are mostly used for internal wiring of miscellaneous electrical equipment. Ptfe wires have high mechanical and electrical properties so it is used in many electrical applications. Ptfe wires have long electrical stability so it is used in manufacturing of gears, slide plates and pyrotechnic compositions. This is the reason that Ptfe heater wires are mostly used in heaters.
